Consultant

Description

We are looking for an experienced OTM Consultant to join our team. As an OTM Consultant, your primary role would be to implement and provide support for Oracle Transportation Management solutions for our clients. You will work closely with project managers, functional and technical consultants, as well as clients, to understand their business requirements and convert them into functional and technical solutions within the OTM framework. This position requires a solid understanding of transportation management processes and expertise in Oracle technologies and related programming languages.

Responsibilities 

• Demonstrate competence in at least one module and/or technical area
• Be a part of a team on implementation assignment and work effectively under the supervision of a senior team member
• Follow standard practices and procedures to provide quality work products
• Deliver functional and technical solutions on the application and the technology framework
• Gain a basic understanding of the industry vertical to work on the functional and technical solution
• Should be able to communicate effectively and build rapport with the team members and customers
• Regular meetings with mentors to enhance knowledge of product and soft skills

Experience and Skills

• Experience 2+ years
• Must have strong technical and/or functional knowledge of the latest Oracle Transportation Management Application cloud or on-premise versions across all modules.
• Experience in configuring and delivering CRP (Conference Room Pilots)
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL, XSL, OTM XML
• Must have knowledge of preparing functional/technical documents and should be able to translate the functional/technical specifications/design into OTM configurations.
• Should have experience in at least 2 end-to-end OTM life cycle/implementation
• Have a strong oral and written communication skills
• Be an analytical problem solver
• Be a team player

Education

• Bachelor’s (BS, B.E., B-Tech) (Preferred)
